I’ve been caught spraying Method’s Cucumber All-Purpose Surface Cleaner on my kitchen counters even when they’re spotless. If you’ve ever used it, I know you’ll understand. It smells unbelievably good.
But the lovely scent is not why I’ve used Method’s products for years. If you read my interview with Dr. Jay Gordon, you know why I think it’s important to use non-toxic and biodegradable cleaning products. I also don’t eat animals, so Method’s policy not to test on animals or use any animal by-products is right up my alley.
That’s why I almost laughed when Method, of all companies in the world, contacted me and asked if I could help them raise awareness for the fair treatment of animals. Had they been spying on me? Did they have footage of me inhaling the cucumber spray while eating lentils? It was almost too good to be true.
I’m pretty picky with anything I endorse, wear or use but this felt so right it was nearly silly. So for the month of June, I’m teaming up with Method to support the ASPCA, whose mission is to prevent animal cruelty. I’m really excited to be able to extend the discount code PAWPRINT to you to shop Method products at 20% off. It’s a unique opportunity to try them out or stock up.
You can also win products and a $50 gift card by entering Method and Soap.com’s Cute Pet Photo Contest on Facebook. All you need to do is post a cute photo of your pet on Method’s Facebook page (the page has over 500,000 followers). I’m entering my photograph of my mom’s proud Highland Cattle (above). I think this guy is pretty cute!
Here are the details:
• Method will announce three winners each week on their Facebook page. The winners will receive Method’s Designed for Good hand soaps and a $50 gift card to Soap.com. You’re eligible to win throughout the entire three weeks of the contest, so you’ll have a chance to win no matter when you post your photo from today until June 30. Many of the photos will also be selected for Method’s Pinterest board, so this is a fun way to showcase your photos!
• If you haven’t tried Method’s biodegradable, non-toxic products before, or if you’re already a fan, take advantage of the 20% discount code PAWPRINT on Soap.com in June. You’ll also help the ASPCA, because Method will donate 15% of their sales to the organization. That’s a pretty good deal for all living beings.
